Wassenaar – Hello dear volleyball players, We have in Wassenaar a volleyball club named “de Wassenaarse Volleybal Vereniging” (WVV). Every Wednesday evening from 20.15 – 21.45 hour we do the training in sports hall De Schulpwei, Dr. Mansveltkade 1 in Wassenaar.

WVV plays recreation volleyball in the official Dutch competition league of the Nevobo. We have three teams in competition, two mix teams and one men’s team. Our home games, also played in sports hall De Schulpwei, are on Friday evening from 20.30 hr.

WVV has about 40 members, men and women, aging 18 years and up. Mainly Dutch people but also members from several countries. They all train at Wednesday evening led by our trainer Wil Westgeest. WVV is a sporty and social volleyball club with a good level volleyball. Two teams became champion in the last competition!

Twice a year there is a tournament in sports hall De Schulpwei. WVV has also social happenings. So we meet after the training each other in the canteen of the sports hall for a drink and socializing.

If you want to see what it’s like to play volleyball at WVV you are invited to come and see our training. Even better take your sportswear with you so you can join the training.
Before to make any formal commitments to WVV you can participate with the training 4 times free of charge.

Look for more information on our website: www.wvv-wassenaar.nl or call our secretary Ruud Meershoek, tel. 070 – 5119196.

We look forward to welcome you at de Wassenaarse Volleybal Vereniging.
