It is a yearly tradition that a special service called “Lessons and Carols” will be held in the Dorpskerk on the third day of advent. In this service 9 lessons will be read from the scriptures : the fall of Adam, the expectation of and the coming of Christ The readings will be alternated with the singing of Carols composed by, among others, John Rutter and Esther Bersweden.
For this occasion a special “Project Choir” has been formed conducted by Anneke Jansen. There will also be singing by the congregation of the old well known Chistmas Carols. Our pastor Mme Esther de Pauw will be conducting the service and the organ will be played by Rijk Jansen.
Come all ye faithful and join your voice in the Christmassy decorated Dorpskerk with all the other singers to make this a fantastic happening.
