Op maandag 19 december 2022 heeft een aantal taekwondoka’s weer met succes examen gedaan.
Rosa, Cecilia, Emilia en Frederik zijn geslaagd voor hun gele slip. Arion, Alexander, Arianna en Karyna hebben gele band verdiend en Ibrahim, Leo, Aaron, Rafael en Friso hun groene slip. Uffe en Euan zijn geslaagd voor hun groene band. Nara, Oliver en Scarlett is het gelukt hun blauwe slip te behalen.
Taekwondo is een van oorsprong Koreaanse martial art en een olympische sport. Tijdens de lessen leren de leerlingen arm – en beentechnieken, sparren en worden er zelfverdedigingsoefeningen gedaan.
In Wassenaar geeft grootmeester Mazdak Zareei les in de gymzaal van de St. Bonifaciusschool. Taekwondo Koryo is door de gemeente Den Haag verkozen tot de beste taekwondovereniging van regio Den Haag, is al jaren de nummer club één in Nederland en behoort tot de Europese topclubs.

Exams at Taekwondo Koryo in Wassenaar
On Monday 19 December 2022 our pupils did successfully their exams.
Rosa, Emilia, Cecilia and Frederik passed for their yellow stripe. Arion, Alexander, Arianna and Karyna got their yellow belt and Ibrahim, Leo, Aaron, Rafael and Friso received their green stripe. Uffe and Euan passed for their green belt. Nara, Oliver and Scarlett passed for their blue stripe.
Taekwondo is originally a Korean martial art and an Olympic sport. During the lessons, the students learn arm and leg techniques, sparring and self-defence exercises are done.
In Wassenaar we train with grandmaster Mazdak Zareei in the gym of the St. Bonifacius school. Taekwondo Koryo has been awarded as the best taekwondo club of the The Hague region by the municipality of The Hague, has been the number one club in the Netherlands for years and is one of the top European clubs.
